Here are some of the frequently asked questions about our retreats.

The Retreat

How many people will be on the retreat?

Generally there are 12 - 20 participants on each retreat. This allows each participant to gain maximum benefit from the workshops and teachings offered throughout the 12 days on the retreat.

Our retreat schedule begins with morning yoga and meditation, followed by breakfast and free time. Later, we offer a healing journey workshop before lunch. Afternoon free time can be spent at the pool, enjoying massages, or resting. Then, there's an optional afternoon activity, followed by dinner and evening activities. Participation in all activities are optional, enabling you to customize the retreat to suit your needs.

Are there other dates available?

The next retreat is scheduled for October 2024. Please contact us to find out about future dates.

In the morning there are yoga and meditation classes with expert teachers. There will also be Healing Journey workshops with Katrina Love Senn that will help you to break free of the dieting mindset once and for all. In the afternoon there will be optional movement classes.

I've never done yoga before. Can I still come?

Yes! Beginners and yoga students of all levels are welcome. The yoga teachers will always work with you from wherever you are at right now, so each person will feel themselves learning new skills, building strength and growing in their own yoga practice.

Each week there will be 3 optional healing excursions available for you to experience. These excursions have been chosen to support you on your healing journey and also to fully experience different parts of the real Bali.

How long does it take to get to the hotel from the airport?

Generally it takes 1.5 - 2 hours from Denpasar Airport to the hotel. If you notify us of your flight arrival details, our driver will be waiting for you when you arrive.

Can I bring my partner or friend?

Absolutely! We welcome guests to bring a friend or partner. Having someone by your side can greatly support your healing journey. Additionally, we offer a discount for those who attend with a companion.

What is the price of the retreat?

The retreat is all-inclusive price of $4,497 USD. It includes all scheduled activities, meals and accommodation in a Superior Room in 4* resort for the entire 12 day retreat. The price for the retreat is made up of two payments... The deposit is $2,997 USD (paid via the website). The final payment is $1,500 USD (paid to the hotel on arrival).

Please note: Early Bird Special pricing is available until 29 February 2024, which is $3,497. The deposit for the Early Bird Special is $1,997 USD (paid via the website). The final payment is $1,500 USD (paid to the hotel on arrival).

Is there a discount if I come with someone else?

Yes, there is a generous discount available if you come with a friend or partner and share a room. Instead of $4,497 USD the price is reduced to $3,997 USD per person. 

Early Bird Special pricing is available for shared accommodation until February 29th 2024. It is $2,999 USD per person. The deposit for the Early Bird Special is $1,997 USD per person (paid via the website), with the final payment of $2000 USD to be paid to the hotel on arrival.

What is the temperature like in Bali?

The temperature in Bali is lovely all year round, and especially enjoyable in October.

What amenities do the rooms have?

The rooms come equipped with air conditioning, wireless internet,  hair dryer, in house laundry, desk, room safe and balcony/veranda. Linen, towels and bathrobes are provided.

Do I need any vaccinations to enter Bali?

You are not required to get any specific vaccinations although it is advisable to ensure that your tetanus injection is up to date.

Is Bali a safe country for solo travellers?

Yes, Bali often tops the list as one of the safest tourist destinations in Asia.  


Accommodation

Will I have my own room?

Yes. The retreat price includes luxury accommodation in your own private room. You will have an ensuite bathroom and your own balcony. Please note that there are a limited number of share rooms that may be available. 

Where is the retreat held?

The retreat is held in ARMA Resort, a 4* resort in Ubud, Bali. It is in a fantastic location - right in the heart of Ubud and easily walkable (or if preferred a short taxi ride) to all supermarkets, cafes, shops, spas and other places of interest.

Does the resort have a swimming pool?

The resort has two swimming pools on site for guests to enjoy.

Does the resort have a spa?

The resort has it has a brand new spa with a range of treatments with skilled therapists.


Food

What is the food like?

The food is healthy, fresh, tasty and delicious. It is predominantly served in a buffet style with a wide selection of meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, herbs, dressings and sauces. At the retreat, you will eat onsite at the resort and also have the opportunity to go out to eat at restaurants in Ubud for dinner.

Is the food restrictive or boring?

The food on this retreat is incredible! Each meal has been custom created specifically for this retreat by highly trained detox spa chefs. The food on this retreat is all about eating the wide range of real foods, that come direct from nature. These are the foods that your body knows and loves!

Will I learn how to prepare healthy meals?

You will leave this retreat feeling inspired about creating healthy and delicious food for yourself, when you return home.

When does the retreat start?

The retreat starts on Sunday 13 October with an 'Opening circle' on Day 1 at 5pm. Check in from 2pm. If your flight arrives earlier, just let us know and we can arrange an early check-in for you.

When does the retreat end?

The retreat will finish on Thursday 24 October after breakfast. Check out is at 11am. If you wish to stay a bit later, just let us know and we can see if it's possible to arrange a late check-out for you.
